Still loving the mix of watercolour with other media. This sketch was worked by drawing with a water soluble crayon on damp paper after I had washed out an old, unwanted painting. Sometimes I remove the painted marks completely, but other times, as the pigment is loosened by the water, you start to see something new and intriguing emerge. The result is a slight ghost of an image, adding another possible narrative to a new painting.
